Elodie Schloesing

I’m fascinated about studying and understanding wildlife. During my master’s degree, I mainly focused on bird’s communication. For my master thesis I will follow this theme, studying bird song in noisy environments around Madrid-Barajas airport, under the direction of Diego Gil.

My first degree was a technical certification in Nature protection. Next, I completed a bachelor’s degree in wildlife monitoring at the University Claude Bernard of Lyon 1. Then, I joined a master’s degree in Ecology & Ethology at the University Jean Monnet of Saint-Etienne. I worked with several environmental associations and different biology labs. Thus I acquired a solid experience on field studies, especially on wildlife monitoring and animal behaviour.
