Curriculum Vitae

carried out my studies in Biology in the Complutense University of Madrid, where I took part in different projects focused  mainly on behavioural ecology and phylogenetic evolution. Since I began my career, I have worked with birds as my main study model. After obtaining my Biology´s degree I studied an Animal Behaviour Master in Pablo de Olavide University of Seville, conducting my final master´s Project in Doñana's Biological station (EBD-CSIC). My interests are focused on sexual selection and evolutionary ecology; principally the selection of certain characters that act as honest signals of individual quality, such as the coloration of the plumage.

Parallel to my studies, I have participated in different projects tracking wildlife, focusing on autumn migration of passerines or large speedboats in the Strait of Gibraltar, either through scientific ringing or by conducting surveys with different groups of birds.
