Curriculum Vitae

I'm a senior year student in Biology, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and I'm really passionate about birds. I already have experience with birds, such as scientific bird banding with the Grupo de Seguimiento de Biodiversidad of the Facultad de Biología at the UCM, and a private company that specializes in bird banding. I also have experience coordinating activities targeting the general public, through my position with the university association SEO-Alectoris. I'm interested in everything related with the behavioral study of birds and their response against handling stress during scientific banding and data collection. My Trabajo de Fin de Grado (end-of-degree dissertation), directed by Diego Gil Pérez, is about the vocalizations produced by the spotless starling (Sturnus unicolor) at the moment of releasing, and the vocalization produced during handling of the red-necked nightjar (Caprimulgus ruficollis).
