Research Themes
My Master’s Thesis focuses on validating different hypotheses about the possible causes of divorce in birds. Using the study species, the spotless starling (Sturnus unicolor), the various causes and variables that trigger divorce in this species will be analyzed and discussed. The opportunity to work on this project allows me to improve several skills such as teamwork, resource management, fieldwork experience, and database handling and analysis all of which are essential for continuing my professional development.
Curriculum Vitae
My deep passion for observing wildlife—both native species and those documented in remote regions of the planet through documentaries I have followed since childhood—has been an internal driving force that led me to pursue a Biology degree at the University of Valencia (UV). In Lugo, I completed my curricular internship at the environmental consultancy Arena, where I participated in various projects related to large mammals, specifically the Iberian wolf and its management.Due to my interest in studying the species diversity within the Natural Park I had visited since I was a child, my Final Degree Project focused on studying reptile diversity in the Albufera of Valencia and the various factors that affect it. Later on, unsure about which animal group I wanted to specialize in, I began accompanying different bird ringers in their weekly activities. As a result, I developed a strong passion for ornithology. I am currently pursuing the Master's Degree in Biodiversity at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).
