Research Themes

During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in various research projects. I completed a research stay at the Instituto de Desarrollo Regional (IDR), in the department of Food Quality, where I worked on the quality and characterization of mare's milk. Additionally, I did internships at IREC in the Animal Health and Biotechnology unit, focusing on animal health, and later worked in the animal reproduction area, where I also completed my Bachelor's thesis. I also had the opportunity to work as a Quality Technician at Quesos Sanabria, thanks to a UCLM Rural grant, in a village in Cuenca. These experiences further diversified my training, allowing me to explore different fields within my area of study. During my Master's Thesis and my current position as a technician in the Behavioral Ecology and Endocrinology research group, I have begun working on the connection between physiological state, maternal investment, and oxidative stress in the red-legged partridge (Alectoris rufa).

In summary, my career has developed at the intersection of biotechnology, animal health, and ecology. I am committed to research and species conservation, always seeking to expand my knowledge and skills in various fields of biology, driven by my passion for animals and nature.
