Curriculum Vitae
I have been interested in nature and birds since I was a child. I studied Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid. While I was finishing my degree, I had the opportunity to participate in the LIFE Followers volunteer project of SEO BirdLife. I also participated in the flora monitoring project on the university campus and recently I have been developing my skills in bird banding. I did my degree thesis about the relationship between the ultraviolet colour of the tail of blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus) and their reproduction and physical condition.
I studied a Master's degree in Biodiversity in Tropical Areas and its Conservation at the Menéndez Pelayo International University in collaboration with the Spanish National Research Council. For my Master's thesis I studied the phylogenetic, morphological and dietary differences between two species of hummingbirds.
During these last years, my interest in topics related to ecology of birds has increased.
